Dawat e Iftar | Hyderabad, March 11 (Maxim News): Minorities Welfare Minister Mohammad Azharuddin reviewed arrangements for the Dawat e Iftar event.

The meeting took place at Lal Bahadur Stadium in Nampally on Wednesday. The Chief Minister will host the Iftar during the Ramzan month. So officials have started detailed preparations.

Azharuddin chaired a meeting with senior officials. He reviewed plans for the large gathering. He also checked seating, security, and food plans.

Moreover, he asked departments to work in close coordination. Therefore, he stressed smooth conduct of the programme.

The Minister asked officials to avoid lapses. He said proper planning will ensure success. He also said the event must reflect respect for the holy month. So he told officers to complete all works on time.

Government Advisor Mohammed Ali Shabbir attended the meeting. Minority Welfare Secretary B Shafiullah also joined. In addition, chairpersons and senior officers from many departments took part. So the meeting saw strong official presence.

Officials discussed logistics in detail. They reviewed entry points and crowd flow. They also discussed lighting and sanitation. Meanwhile, they planned traffic control steps. Therefore, departments agreed on shared duties.

Azharuddin asked officers to ensure basic facilities. He said drinking water and medical help must be ready. He also said volunteers must guide guests. So he asked teams to stay alert during the event.

The Minister also spoke about dignity of the event. He said the programme must run in an orderly way. He asked officers to maintain discipline. In addition, he said coordination will help avoid confusion.

Ramzan Iftar events draw large gatherings in Hyderabad. The state government hosts such events every year. These events promote social harmony. Therefore, officials treat them as key public programmes.
