Delegations from MahaPREIT, a Govt of Maharashtra Undertaking and Madhya Pradesh Industrial Development Corporation visited FLO Industrial Park located at Sultanpur, disclosed FLO(FICCI Ladies Organisation) President Priya Gazdar in a press note issued in the city today.

FLO Industrial Park at Sultanpur on the outskirts of Hyderabad is an industrial park wholly owned by women entrepreneurs first in India.  The most talked about park is a Model for Women-Led Growth.  The park is India’s first 100% women-owned industrial park, has set a national benchmark. With an initial investment of INR 250 crores, the Park created 1,500+ jobs, of which 55% are for women.

Encouraged by its success, FLO aims to replicate this model across various states, integrating business townships linked to industrial parks. The visits by the Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh Government delegations reaffirm FLO’s mission of women’s economic empowerment through industrial expansion.

The 30 member women led delegation from Government of Madhya Pradesh comprised of Women Industry Owners (Recommended by GM DTIC); Nominated MSME officials (Nominated by PS MSME & MPIDC); RAMP State Nodal Officer – Mr. Anil Thagle; EY Representative – Mr. Sunil Kumar; Co-Chair MP CMSME & Past Chairperson, FLO Indore – Meetu Kohli, Director, Dimension Furniture; FICCI Member – Mr. Saurabh Mishra and FLO Industrial Park Indore Committee Members.

The MSME Department of the Government of Madhya Pradesh (GoMP), facilitated an exposure visit for a 30-member women-led delegation to FLO Industrial Park, Sultanpur, Hyderabad.

The FIP initiative, which was recently presented to the World Bank under the Raising and Accelerating MSME Performance (RAMP) Scheme, received high appreciation for its focus on increasing women-led industrial growth.

 Priya Gazdar, Chairperson, FLO Hyderabad, Past Chairperson and FLO Industrial Park team welcomed the delegates and facilitated their visit.  Priya Gazdar gave the visitors a bird’s eye view of FLO Hyderabad’s 22 years’ legacy. Monika Agarwal made a presentation about FIP, its vision, purpose and working. The presentation was followed by an Ask and Know session in which the visitors’ queries were answered by Monika Agarwal, and FIP industrialists Usharani Manne, Director, Polmon Instruments Ltd. and Srivani Madugula, Director, Paneluxe.

FLO leaders and the visiting delegation then met with Sri Jayesh Ranjan, Principal Secretary, IT & Industries, Government of Telangana, for discussions on state policies that enable women-led industries.
