Delhi: Tunnel Found from Assembly to Red Fort

Delhi: The officials of the Delhi Legislative Assembly discovered a secrete tunnel-like structure connecting the Red Fort in Chandni Chowk on Thursday.

The officials found a secret tunnel from inside a room in the Delhi Legislative Assembly in Civil Lines.

Assembly Speaker Ram Niwas Goel stated that the tunnel connecting the legislative assembly to Red Fort that was used by the British to avoid reprisal while moving the freedom fighters.

He added that no much information is known about the secrete passage. The officials decided to allow the public from the tunnel from August 15, next year.
