According to s.Rasmi Perumal,  Dy. Commissioner of Police, Task Force, Hyderabad, the accused Chepuri Narender is a native of  Suryapet and migrated to Hyderabad to do catering work and taking temporary shelter at Sundaraiah Park, Bagh Lingampally, and having bad vices and consuming liquor. One year back he became friends with  Shastry Gopal (deceased) who is working under vegetable vendors by taking shelter and sleeping in the park.

  A few days back some clashes arose between the accused and the deceased in connection with keeping the accused luggage/dress bag beside a pan shop which is adjacent to the Park premises.   The deceased refused to keep the bag of the accused. On that, the accused bore a grudge against the deceased and waited to take the opportunity to eliminate him.

On 17-03-2024  in the late night hours accused hatched a plan to take revenge on Shastry Gopal (deceased), The accused searched for the deceased at where sleeping point and found the deceased sleeping opposite Meenakshi Tiffin Centre, Baghlingampally then the accused evil intentions took a granite boulder and forcibly hit on the forehead of deceased for several times due to which the deceased died with pool of blood on the spot later the accused sped away from the spot.

 Accused Chepuri Narender was previously arrested in Cr.No. 276/2014 U/s. 379 IPC of  Suryapet Town PS
The Task Force, Central Zone team verified the CCTV footage at all possible places, analyzed footage from surveillance cameras, and also verified the modus operandi of accused persons and identified the accused.

Today i.e. on 19-03-2024 acting on the tip of the Task Force Central Zone team apprehended accused Chepuri Narender and detected a mysterious murder case of Chikkadpally PS.

The apprehended accused person was handed over to SHO, Chikkadpally PS for further investigation. The apprehension was made under the supervision of S. Rashmi Perumal, N. Ramakrishna, Inspector of Police, SIs B. Nagesh, Ch. Naveen Kumar and staff of Central Zone Task Force, Hyderabad. (Maxim News)
