Dharmavaram Youth Nabbed For Alleged Links With Terrorists

Dharmavaram/Hyderabad, Aug 16 (Maxim News): In a major security alert, terrorist-related activities have surfaced in Dharmavaram, Sri Sathya Sai district. The Intelligence Bureau (IB) traced suspicious communications involving Noor Mohammed, a resident of Kota Colony, who was reportedly making frequent calls to Pakistan and engaging in online chats with terrorists.

Following the alert, IB and National Investigation Agency (NIA) officials closely monitored Noor Mohammed’s movements and took him into custody. According to officials, Noor was employed as a cook at a biryani outlet in Dharmavaram.

During the investigation, authorities seized 16 SIM cards from his possession. The NIA is now probing the individuals and networks Noor was in contact with through these SIM cards. Sources indicate that Noor was detained two days ago and is currently being interrogated at a confidential location.

Preliminary findings suggest that Noor was an active member of WhatsApp groups linked to the Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) terror organization. He allegedly participated in discussions, made calls to members of these groups, and posted messages inciting and encouraging Muslim youth to join extremist activities.

Security agencies have intensified the probe to uncover possible links, sleeper cells, and the extent of Noor’s involvement in radicalization efforts. (Maxim News)
