Diesel Smuggling Gang Arrested: Seized 10,800 Liters Of Diesel

Hyderabad, April 24 (Maxim News): Cyberabad SOT police arrested a diesel smuggling gang from Karnataka and seized 10,800 liters of diesel worth 10 lakhs and 7 small diesel tankers worth 35 lakh with 7 drivers who are illegally transporting diesel from Karnataka across the open plot in front of the Vattinagulapally Engineering college.

According to the police, it seems that a businessman named Radhakrishna has transformed himself into a diesel smuggler and is smuggling diesel worth crores of rupees from Karnataka to Telangana. The  smuggling is costing the Telangana state treasury a few crores per month. Smuggler Radhakrishna is supplying to another smuggler Surya @ Sai Ram Surya who is running doorstep delivery service in Hyderabad. Doorstep delivery service owner Surya @ Sai Ram Surya through his manager Ritesh is known to be selling to small tankers, local sand lorries, quarry lorries and consumers contacted through door step delivery service app.

Smuggler Radhakrishna Suresh is not only supplying to many people in Telangana. ast month also, the same smuggler Radhakrishna was caught by the Cyberabad SOT while supplying 18000 liters of diesel through an official tanker at the same place. It is known that many cases have been registered against smuggler Radhakrishna. Smuggler Radhakrishna is absconding in cases already registered in Gachibowli police station.

The price difference of diesel rate between Karnataka and Telangana is more than Rs. 9, in karnataka one litre of diesel price is Rs. 86.39 and Telangana Rs. 95.65.  (Maxim News)
