DMK Ends Alliance With Congress Withdrawn From INDI Alliance

Chennai/Hyderabad, May 8 (Maxim News): An unexpected development has taken place in Tamil Nadu. The DMK has announced that its alliance with the Congress has ended. It has made it clear that it is withdrawing from the INDI Alliance. Although the TVK party won 108 seats in the Tamil Nadu Assembly elections, it could not achieve the majority strength of 118 members required to form the government. It is known that the Congress, which is in the DMK alliance, won five seats. With this, the Congress supported TVK to form the government. The DMK strongly opposed this decision.
