Hyderabad, June 5: Telangana BJP president N. Ramchander Rao on Friday said a double engine government was essential for the state’s development and claimed that people were looking towards the BJP with hope.
He made the remarks while participating in a BJP workers’ training programme in Mahabubabad. Party leaders and workers also planted saplings as part of World Environment Day observances.
Addressing party workers, Ramchandra Rao criticized both the previous BRS government and the current Congress administration. He alleged that the BRS regime failed in areas such as fund utilization, appointments, and irrigation management.
The BJP leader also accused the Congress government of corruption and administrative negligence. He claimed that the government’s promise of a complete farm loan waiver had not been fully implemented.
Ramchandra Rao said that since 2014, welfare and development initiatives have progressed in coordination under BJP-led governments. He argued that a double engine government would accelerate Telangana’s growth and development.
He urged BJP workers to make effective use of modern technology, including artificial intelligence and social media, to strengthen outreach efforts. At the same time, he stressed the importance of maintaining direct contact with people at the grassroots level.
The state BJP chief said the topics discussed during the training sessions should be explained to the public in detail. He also asked party leaders to communicate the welfare schemes of the Central government and the BJP’s ideology to the people. The programme was attended by BJP leaders and party workers from the region.
