DRI Seizes 3.2 Kgs of Heroin Worth Rs. 21 Crores at RGIA

Based on specific Intelligence, officers of DRI intercepted a lady passenger from Zambia at RGIA, Hyderabad and recovered about 3.2 Kgs of NDPS substance suspected to be Heroin from their checked-in Baggage.

In the early hours of 19.07.2021, officers of DRI intercepted a Zambian lady passenger who flew from Zambia via Johannesburg and Doha in Qatar Airways.

Detailed examination of her baggage resulted in recovery of off-white powder concealed in her baggage.

The substance tested positive for Heroin. The Drug was seized and the person was arrested under the provisions of NDPS Act 1985.
