Drugs Trafficking Case: ED to Grill Tollywood Celebrities

Hyderabad, Aug.30 (Maxim News): The Enforcement Directorate (ED) will launch its interrogation in the sensational drugs trafficking case from Tuesday. The sleuths of the agency will interrogate ace director Puri Jagannath on the first day of its investigation.

The ED has already sent notices to 12 celebrities of the Tollywood. It has also issued notices to 50 others in connection with the drugs trafficking case.

The officials of Excise department had interrogated the 50 people served with the ED’s notices in the past.The ED had found that money went out of country through hawala route for the purchase of the drugs.

Meanwhile the officials of the ED has also gathered more information about the case from the officer of the Special Investigation Team (SIT) constituted by the excise department of the State Srinivas. The interrogation of different people will begin from August 31 and will continue till September 22. (Maxim News)
