The Engineering, Agriculture And Medical Common Entrance Test (EAMCET) 2019 commenced on a peaceful note in both the Telugu States here on Friday.
The computer based entrance test for the engineering stream began on Friday and it will be held on Saturday and Monday too. The exam for the AM stream will be conducted on May 8 and 9. Both the tests will be held in two sessions from 10 am to 1 pm and 2 pm to 6 pm in 83 test centres in Telangana and in 11 test centres in Andhra Pradesh.
The Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University-Hyderabad, which is conducting the test, said that over 2.17 lakh students have registered for the EAMCET 2019.
