EC to conduct polls for 6 MLC seats on Dec 10

Hyderabad, Nov.26 (Maxim News): Polls for six MLC seats under local bodies quota in the state will be conducted on December 10 as six candidates elected unanimously according to information.

On the last day of withdrawal of the nominations today only six candidates out of 12 are in fray. With polls are to be held on December 10 and results to be announced on December 14.

As the six were elected unanimously the poll body is gearing up to conduct the polls for only the rest of six seats.

The candidates won the polls unanimously are K Kavitha, K Damodar Reddy, Kasireddy Narayana Reddy, P Mahender Reddy, Shambhipur Raju and P Srinivas Reddy.

The Election Commission has directed the officials concerned to make necessary arrangements for the same. The EC has been monitoring the progress of the polls process and gave instructions to the officials if the districts to conduct the polls in a fair manner.

They asked to conduct the polls following Corona protocols at the polling stations on December 10. (Maxim News)’
