Lok Sabha 2024 Election Can Be Called The “Year Of Election Worldwide: ECI Rajeev Kumar

Delhi/Hyderabad, March 16 (Maxim News): The Lok Sabha elections – 2024 are in full swing.  Election Commission (ECI) Chief Commissioner Rajeev Kumar along with Commissioners Gyanesh Kumar and Sukhbir Singh are announcing the schedule of Lok Sabha elections in Vigyan Bhawan Plenary Hall.  

The dates of the 18th Lok Sabha as well as the Assembly elections of Andhra Pradesh, Odisha, Arunachal Pradesh, and Sikkim are being announced.

Chief Election Commissioner Rajeev Kumar said that the whole world is looking towards the elections conducted by India.  he said that 2024 can be called the year of elections worldwide.

Election Code Of Conduct In Force With Immediate Effect

As far as we are concerned,  there are 97 crore registered voters in the country.  We have set up 10.5 lakh polling stations, and 1.5 lakh polling officials and security personnel will be involved in this process.  We are using 55 lakh EVMs. Also, we will use 4 lakh vehicles, he said.  the Election Code came into force today with the announcement of the schedule.
