Ex-Cop Turned Criminal: The Arrest of a Retired Inspector for Planning a Realtor’s Elimination

Hyderabad, April 24 (Maxim News): The Commissioner’s Task Force North Zone Team along with Police Gopalapuram has spoiled the murder plan by apprehending 3 accused persons who planned to murder one Vijaypal Reddy and recovered one Country made Pistol, two sickles, cash Rs. 1,00,000 and 6 Cell Phones.

The accused are 1) Dasari Bhoomaiah s/ o. Dasari Rangaiah (late), age: 62 years, Occ: Retd.C.I
of Police, г/o. Mukrampura, Karimnagar Town. 2) Miamidi Chandraiah @ Chandu @ Chandu Yadav s/ o. M. Komraiah (late), age: 47 years, Caste: Yadav, Occ: Kavitha Mess, n/ o. Pragadapalli (V), Kalva Srirampur (M), Peddapalli District, r/o. Present Near: Sangeetha Theatre, Kunaram Road, Peddapalli and 3) Gorre Royagolla @ Shanker s/O.G. Nagaiah (late), age: 52 years, Occ: Realtor, Caste: Yerra Golla N/o.Somidi, Kazipet (M), Warangal District. 4) Gaddam Kumar s/ 0.G. Narsaiah (late) age: 48 years, Caste: Munnuru Kapu, Occ: Veg. Vendor, N/o. Vadakapur (V), Julapally (M), Peddapalli District, г/o.H.No.7-64, SCC Laxminagar, Mancherial Town and District. One Dasari Bhoomaiah is the Master’s mind
behind this Murder plan.

Speaking to press persons, the Commissioner of Police C.V Anand said Bhoomaiah has worked in the Police Department, he was caught by Anti-Corruption Bureau in the year 2018 for acquiring disproportionate assets. The said Dasari Bhoomaiah suspected that information to the ACB officials was given by one Ekkati Vijaypal Reddy who is a realtor. Dasari Bhoomaiah

Inspector was remanded to Judicial custody by ACB officials, he was in jail for some time. One Mamidi Chandraiah s/ o.M.Komaraiah, occ: Mess Business at Peddapalli, is a close friend of Dasari Bhoomaiah. After releasing from Jail,

Dasari Bhoomaiah developed enmity against Vijaypal Reddy and he is not about Bhoomaiah to cultivate his lands situated at Basheerabad Mandal, R.R. District. Finally, he decided to eliminate Vijaypal Reddy as he was the brain behind

ACB case against him. In the month of March-2023, Dasari Bhoomaiah called, Mamidi Chandraiah to his residence situated at Karimnagar and explained to eliminate Vilaypal Reddy, asked him to engage some hire killers, he also told that he wants to spend nearly Rs.40 to Rs.50 lakhs for the elimination of Vijaypal Reddy. Mamidi Chandraiah contacted Shanker (who previously worked in Janasakthi Pratigatana Naxals Group) who is well known to him. In turn Shanker contacted one Gaddam Kumar of Mancherial who is his close friend. Shanker, Gaddam Kumar, and others committed the Murder of one Ashok Rowdy sheeter of Illendu about (10) years back in the limits of Ilendu Police Station. That was a hired murder.

Mamidi Chandraiah approached Shanker, and Kumar finally entered into an oral agreement with Dasari Bhoomaiah to eliminate Vijaypal Reddy for an amount of Rs.20 lakhs. In advance, Dasari Bhoomaiah gave Rs.5 lakhs to Mamidi Chandraiah, and the same was distributed among them. Gaddam Kumar has a country-made Pistol brought by his son in Bihar. He forwarded the photo of Pistol to Shanker in turn Shanker sent it to Mamidi Chandraiah. This Gang had been to LB Nagar, located at the house of Vijaypal Reddy situated near Astalaxmi Temple, and conducted a Recce, they also photographed his vehicle. The photo of Vijaypal Reddy was forwarded by Dasari Bhoomaiah to Mamidi Chandraiah. Finally, Mamidi Chandraiah camped in a Hotel at Secunderabad for the execution of their -plan.

The arrest was made under the supervision of P. Radha Kishan Rao, Dy.Commr.of Police, (OSD) Commissioner’s Task Force, N.Sudheer Kumar ACP Gopalapuram, T. Srinath Reddy, Inspector of Police, Commissioner’s Task Force, North Zone, Sai Eshwar Goud Inspector of Police Gopalapuram PS, SIs B.Ashok Reddy, K.Srikanth, M Anantha Chary, B.Aravind Goud of North Zone Task Force, G.Shiva Shankar SI of police Gopalapuram PS & Staff of North Zone Task Force Team, (Maxim News)
