Ex-MLA Kanaka Reddy No More
Hyderabad, May 11 (Maxim News): Malkajgiri former MLA C Kanaka Reddy passed away at KIMS hospital today after a brief illness. He was undergoing treatment at the hospital for past few weeks and breathed his last on Saturday morning .
Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao today condoled the death of C. Kanaka Reddy, former MLA representing Malkajgiri constituency during 2014-2018. The CM recalled his services as a legislator. He conveyed his condolences to the members of the bereaved family.
TRS working president KT Rama Rao along with Medical and Health Minister Etela Rajender, Excise Minister V Srinivas Goud, Labour Minister CH Malla Reddy, GHMC Mayor Bonthu Rammohan and several other TRS leaders visited KIMS and paid their last respects to Kanaka Reddy. They expressed shock over his sudden demise and conveyed their condolences to his family. Speaker Pocharam Srinivas Reddy and Education Minister G Jagadish Reddy also extended their condolences to the family of the former MLA.
Chintala Kanaka Reddy won as MLA on TRS ticket from Malkajgiri Assembly Constituency in 2014. He was born in Alwal in Secunderabad in 1951. He was a grape growing farmer and was president of Grape Growers’ Association in Andhra Pradesh. He joined Praja Rajyam Party in 2008 and contested from Malakajgiri constituency and lost the election. He joined TRS in 2013 and won as an MLA in 2014 General Elections. (Maxim News)
