Father Killed By Son After Drunken Fight In Medchal

Hyderabad, Oct 22 (Maxim News): In a shocking case of familial violence, a man was killed by his son following a drunken brawl in Medchal on Tuesday night. The deceased was identified as Nizamuddin, a resident of Achaipalli village in Mulugu mandal of Siddipet district. The violent incident unfolded after both father and son consumed alcohol together.

According to preliminary information, Nizamuddin had been drinking with his son, Sheikh Satak, and one of Satak’s friends. Under the influence of alcohol, an argument began between the father and son, which soon escalated into a heated confrontation. In a fit of rage, Sheikh Satak reportedly picked up a rock and attacked his father. Nizamuddin succumbed to his injuries on the spot.

Locals who witnessed the incident immediately alerted the police. Officers from the local station reached the scene and detained both Sheikh Satak and his friend for questioning. They later shifted the body of Nizamuddin to Gandhi Hospital for postmortem examination. Police officials confirmed that a case has been registered and that a full investigation into the circumstances leading to the killing is underway.

The incident has left the residents of Achaipalli village in deep shock. Neighbours described it as a tragic case of domestic tension spiraling out of control due to alcohol consumption. Nizamuddin’s family members rushed to the hospital upon receiving news of his death. Investigators are likely to record statements from the family and the accused’s companion who was reportedly present at the scene during the fight.

Police said further details will be revealed once they complete the interrogation and receive the autopsy report. The investigation continues to determine whether the murder was premeditated or an act committed in the heat of the moment.
