Filing Of Nominations End: Over 100 Candidates Without Affidavit

Hyderabad, Nov 10 (Maxim News): The process of receiving nominations for the Telangana Legislative Assembly elections has been completed. The process of nominations started as soon as the notification of election was issued on November 3. It ended at 3.00 pm today.

A total of 2,474 nominations have been filed in Telangana till yesterday. It is stated that more than a thousand nominations had been filed on the last day today.  

according to the notification of the Election Commission, the nominations will be scrutinized on November 13. Candidates can withdraw their nominations before November 15.

On the other hand, the deadline for B-form submission has also expired.  Candidates who have not submitted B-Form will be declared independent candidates by the Election Commission.  More than a hundred candidates did not submit the affidavits, during the nomination process.  It seems that they were given notices by the returning officers.

Meanwhile, in the 2018 assembly elections, 2,644 nominations were filed by political parties and independent candidates for 119 constituencies in the state. According to the latest statistics, it is clear that this time the number of nominations may be higher.

Polling for 119 assembly seats in Telangana will be held on November 30, 3.17 crore voters will exercise their right to vote.  December 3 will be the counting of votes and the results will be declared.  (Maxim News)
