Food Poisoning At Kodihalli Hostel: 30 Students Fell Ill

Medak/Hyderabad, April 14 (Maxim News) Students who had breakfast at the Kodipalli Integrated Welfare Girls’ Hostel in Medak district fell ill on Sunday morning. About 30 students were admitted to the hospital with symptoms like vomiting, stomach pain, and dizziness.

In the wake of the completion of the 10th class exams, there are currently 97 students staying in the hostel. They were served idlis as breakfast on Sunday. After eating the idlis, about 30 students started vomiting and having stomach pain. They were immediately taken to the government hospital and treated.

The students are currently healthy. On the other hand, the students said that there are hairs and worms in the idlis. They said that since the food in the hostel is not good, many of them are eating food brought from outside.

They lamented that if they complain that the good is not good, they are charged Rs. 500. They said that they have to go to school late as they are not provided with food on time every day. When the hostel warden Narsamma was asked to explain this matter, she did not speak. (Maxim News)
