Former Telangana Congress MLA Caught Playing Poker During Festival

Wazrangal/Hyderabad, oct 20 (Maxim News): A former Telangana Congress MLA was caught playing poker during the festival . The incident came to light under the jurisdiction of Mattewada police station in Warangal . According to the police, on Sunday night, the task force police, after receiving information that some people were playing poker at the house of former MLA Donepudi Ramesh Babu in Kothawada, raided it with a well-planned raid and arrested 13 people.

Those arrested by the police include former MLA Donepudi Rameshbabu, Gudur Haribabu from Warangal Station Road area, Valupadasu Sadanandam and Putta Mohan Reddy from Kazipet area, former corporator Madisetty Sivashankar from Hunter Road Shayampet area, Nomula Tirupati Reddy from Mamunur area, Ravarla Srinivasa Rao and Syed Javid from Girmajipet area, Neelam Rajkishore (Telangana activist) from Kothawada and others.

The police seized Rs. 3,68,530 in cash, 15 cell phones and cards from them. Among those arrested by the police, Chintam Santosh is accused of having previously organized poker camps and continued cash transactions at high interest rates. (Maxim News)
