Formula-E Car Race Case: ED Issues Fresh Notice to KTR

A key development has emerged in the investigation related to the Formula-E car race event, as the Enforcement Directorate (ED) has issued another notice to former Telangana IT Minister and BRS Working President K.T. Rama Rao (KTR). The ED has summoned KTR for a personal hearing on January 16.

Earlier, the ED had issued a notice to KTR, requiring him to appear for questioning on January 7. However, citing the Telangana High Court’s expected judgment on the same day, KTR requested the ED to allow more time to appear before the agency. Responding to his request, ED officials assured him that a new date for the interrogation would be provided.

Meanwhile, it is worth noting that KTR had filed a quash petition seeking dismissal of the case registered against him. The Telangana High Court, however, rejected his plea. Following the court’s decision, both the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) and the ED intensified their investigation into the matter.
