Hyderabad, May 1 (Maxim News) In the wake of the NEET UG exam, Hyderabad CP VC Sajjanar has made key suggestions to students and parents. Some fraudsters and brokers are trying to capitalize on the immense craze for medical education. The CP has appealed to parents to be especially careful on social media. “Do not believe the words of agents who lure your children by promising them that even if they score low marks in NEET, they will get MBBS seats in the management quota at a very low cost or that they can complete their medical education at a very low cost in the Philippines, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Georgia, China, Armenia and Caribbean countries,” he warned.
The CP reminded that in the past, such gangs have cheated many parents in the Hyderabad Commissionerate. He said that there have been many incidents where many parents have lost their hard-earned money and students have lost a valuable year. If you want to take admission in a foreign medical college, you should definitely check on the official website whether the college is recognized by the National Medical Commission (NMC) of the Government of India or contact the authorities yourself to make sure.
Sajjanar said that lakhs of rupees should not be given to middlemen in the name of admissions. Any fees that have to be paid should be paid directly to the bank account of the concerned university or college. He advised students not to worry about putting their hard-earned results and future dreams in the hands of these fake agents. If anyone contacts them in the name of MBBS seats or harasses them for money, they should immediately inform Dial 100 and file a complaint at the nearest police station. “Do not fall into the trap of fraudsters hoping to see your children become doctors,” CP Sajjanar appealed.
