Hyderabad, Sept 23 (Maxim News): Navratri celebrations have come to an end. Many idols were immersed on the third, fifth, seventh and ninth days of Vinayaka Chavithi. However, the Ganesh Maha Nimajjanotsavam (Ananta Chaturdashi) will be held in Greater Hyderabad on Friday, 25th of this month.
The High Court Registrar has issued orders that the High Court will have a holiday on this occasion. Those who come to the court are requested to note this. It was revealed that instead of this holiday, Saturday, December 5 will be a working day for the court.
Wines will be banned in Cyberabad for 24 hours on the day of the immersion festival. A ban has been imposed on the sale of alcohol from 6 am on September 25 to 6 am on September 26. Wine shops, liquor compounds and bars attached to restaurants will be closed for 24 hours. Bars in star hotels and registered clubs in the city have been exempted from these restrictions. Orders have been issued under Section 20 of the Telangana Excise Act-1968. Police officials have warned that strict legal action will be taken if the rules are violated.
Wine shops will be closed from 6 am on Wednesday, September 23, when Ganesh immersion begins, to 6 am on Thursday, in Karimnagar, Warangal, Siddipet and Medak districts of the state. (Maxim News)
