HYDRA Steps Up Action Across Hyderabad

In parallel, HYDRA (Hyderabad District Revenue Authority) has intensified its efforts against encroachments on government lands and lakes across the city.
Notably, on May 19, HYDRA cleared illegal structures at Survey No. 145/3 near Hyder Nagar, Miyapur, where unauthorized occupants had taken over land despite High Court orders declaring it part of an HMDA-approved layout. The long-standing dispute saw resolution as HYDRA demolished the illegal constructions following the court’s directive.

HYDRA continues to monitor and act against unauthorized constructions on government lands and water bodies, responding to public grievances and court orders. The authority also holds a dedicated public grievance day every Monday to directly address complaints from citizens.
