GHMC Mayor urges residents to strive for Environment Protection

Hyderabad, Oct.3 (Maxim News): GHMC mayor gadwal Vijayalaxmi today called upon the residents of the corporation to strive hard for the protection of environment . She said that the plantation of trees was an essential requirement for the protection of the environment.

She made these remarks while addressing a gathering on necklace road on the occasion of maharaj Agrasen jayanthi celebrations. The organisers have also held an innovative car rally tracer hunt . The mayor flagged off the rally which consisted off 123 cars.

Speaking on the occasion, the mayor said that environmental crises was a modern problem and added that the world was suffering from problems like drought , forest fire and floods . She said that the youth should government’s initiative for reforestation . She said that the chief minister of the state had announced a green fund for he plantation of trees. (Maxim News)
