GHMC Plans Special Programs On Use Of Single Plastic & Removal Of Plastic Waste

Hyderabad, Oct.1 (Maxim News): The GHMC has decided to hold special programs to reduce the usage of single plastic and the removal of plastic waste from tourist places, parks and colonies under the corporation from October 2. It also decided to implement plastic ban rules strictly at different places in the city, especially at tourist places like Charminar, Qutub Shahi tombs, Golconda Fort, Mecca Masjid, Birla planetarium, Tank Bund.

GHMC Commissioner D S Lokesh Kumar issued orders to all the zonal commissioners to take steps for the implementation of the single use plastic ban programs and removal of plastic waste from tourist places and colonies of the corporation. (Maxim News)
