As per the directions of MA&UD Minister K. Taraka Rama Rao, GHMC undertaken various projects under SRDP works to ease the traffic problem in the City. Among them construction of 4 lane Carriage way ROB is taken up. In order to ease the traffic problem and for enabling free movement of vehicles between Madhapur – Kukatpally. Government has sanctioned Rs. 83.06 Cr. to construct 4 lane carriage way ROB under SRDP Said GHMC Commissioner Lokesh Kumar, here today.
Out of which 18.06 Cr. allocated for Railway crossing portion, and 65 Cr for construction of ROB (10 piers), laying approach road and land acquisition includes laying of approach road. The length of approach road including bridge is 675.50 meters and width is 16.61 meters and with service road width of 5.50 meters. These works are under brisk pace said the Commissioner.
