#GHMCPolls: MIM First List Likely Today
Applications forms were printed in only Urdu AIMIM have received more than 200 applications so far
Hyderabad: As the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Elections (GHMC) polls process started, the political parties saw a huge rush of aspirants at Darussalam, applications selling like hot cakes.
Asaduddin Owaisi‘s party AIMIM have received more than 200 applications so far, while more than 1,000 forms have been purchased. The applications forms were printed in only Urdu. Aspirants are seen queues for submitting their forms.
The party had earlier fixed November 23 as the last date to accept filled-in applications but advanced the deadline to November 18, as the State Elections Commission has fixed it to November 20 as the late date for filling of nomination.
Sources in the Majlis party said that the party would release the first list of candidates later today.
