GITAM Celebrated Birth Anniversary Of Poet Kaloji

Hyderabad, Sept.9 (Maxim News):The 106th birth anniversary of Kaloji Narayana Rao was celebrated at GITAM Deemed-to-be University, here today. He was a poet, freedom fighter and political activist of Telangana. He was awarded the Padma Vibhushan in 1992. The Telangana government has named Kaloji’s birthday as Telangana Language Day.

Vice-Chancellor Prof. N.Siva Prasad offered floral tributes to Kaloji on this occasion along with Sri DVVSR Varma, Resident Director, Prof. Nagendra, Director, GSHS and DVA Mohan Rao, Estate Officer. They have expressed their gratitude for Kaloji’s contribution towards the society. (Maxim News)
