Hyderabad, Aug 5 (Maxim News): GMR Aero Academy (GMR AA), a globally accredited aviation training institution, has launched its first-ever online instructor-led training program, the Certification in Airport, Airline and Cargo Operations (CAACO).
The three-month online programme is designed to provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of the aviation ecosystem, combining foundational knowledge with operational training in key functional areas such as airside operations, ramp operations, aviation security, cargo operations, and aviation customer service skills.
Andrew Acquaah Harrison, CEO – Airport Strategic Initiatives, GMR AERO, said the CAACO programme represents a more accessible and inclusive approach to aviation training in India.
The course is structured in two distinct phases, with Phase 1 covering Fundamentals of Civil Aviation, Aviation Regulators, Time Zones in Aviation and Customer Service Skills and Phase 2 covering Operational Focus on Airside Operations, Ramp Operations, Aviation Security, and Cargo Operations.
The programme is open to graduates under 27 years of age with good communication skills, ensuring it is accessible to young professionals seeking to begin their careers in aviation. (Maxim News)
