Hyderabad, Sept. 10: A Lord Ganesha idol made with gold and diamonds was unveiled in Lal Bazar, Hyderabad.
Organisers said the idol is being displayed for the first time in India.
The idol is made from Panchaloha, a five metal alloy, and coated with gold.
It features around 3.83 lakh diamonds sourced from the United States.
Gold and Diamond Ganesha Idol Draws Devotees
The idol depicts Lord Ganesha alongside the Dashavataras, the ten incarnations of Lord Vishnu.
It illuminated brightly under electric lights during a procession on Wednesday night.
Large numbers of devotees gathered to see the gold and diamond Ganesha idol.
The unique display attracted attention during the ongoing Ganesh celebrations in Hyderabad.
