Gold Seized From Two Passengers At The Hyderabad Airport

Hyderabad, Aug 6 (Maxim News): Customs Officers seized gold being illegally transported at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport. Two passengers from Jeddah came to Shamshabad by Indigo Flight, while the officials were checking they found illegal gold worth crores found.  The authorities seized the gold and arrested both of them. 

Four table speakers and 1.88 kg of illegal gold in an iron box were seized from the passengers. The customs officials conducted surveillance and detained them on information that gold was being transported. The value of the gold seized from the accused in the open market is around Rs. 1.11 crores. Customs officers who seized the gold are interrogating the accused.  Full information is to be known.

Gold Sarees Seized

A golden saree was caught.  it was found in a traveler from Dubai.  Customs officials revealed that 461 grams of gold was seized from him.

Officials calculated that the value of the said gold will be up to Rs. 28.01 lakhs. Meanwhile, the accused sprayed gold on the saree without being detected by the customs officials.  the passenger was arrested after finding out that he had tried to trick the customs officials. the case is being investigated, said the customs officials.  (Maxim News)
