With almost every move of the State government aimed at reviving the dwindling fortunes of farmers, the four-year rule of Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao marks the dawn of a golden era for the peasant community, said the Minister for Irrigation, Marketing and Legislative Affairs, T Harish Rao, on Saturday.
Addressing the Diamond Jubilee celebrations of the Telangana State Warehousing Corporation here, he said the farmers, who had been enmeshed in a web of miseries in the undivided State, were much better off today with the Chief Minister reaching out to them, fulfilling almost every wish of the community.
