Governor to Take Second Dose of Covishield in Tribal Habitation

Hyderabad, July 10 (Maxim News): Governor Dr. Tamilisai Soundararajan will take her second dose of Covishield vaccine in a tribal habitation in the State.

With an objective to promote 100 per cent vaccination among tribal people, the Governor has decided to take the vaccine along with tribal people in a tribal habitation.

Accordingly, Dr. Tamilisai Soundararajan will take her second dose of vaccine at KC Thanda, tribal habitation, in Maheshwaram Mandal of Ranga Reddy district on July 12.

The Governor hopes to dispel vaccine-hesitancy among tribal people through this initiative.

The Governor, earlier, called for 100 per cent vaccination coverage of tribal people with special efforts to cover primitive tribal groups people in remote areas.

Her gesture is expected to galvanize the vaccination of tribal people in the State.

Dr. Tamilisai, earlier, took her first dose of vaccine at Government Hospital in Puducherry. (Maxim News)
