Govt Has Plans To Provide Free Coaching To ST, SC, BC Students In All Districts: Koppula

Hyderabad, Aug.8 (Maxim News): Welfare Minister K Eshwar today said the State government plans to provide free coaching for poor students to get top level posts.

The minister held a review meeting at Secretariat here today and said priority will be offered to poor students to take coaching and training with skills for writing competitive examinations. He also appreciated those who got top level jobs after getting training from the government-run study circles. The coaching being offered to SC, ST and BCs was helping them to get jobs by cracking examinations, he said.

Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao has plans to push these categories to get top level jobs, he said, adding that earlier the students used to spend huge money to get coaching in private coaching centers. But now, the government was providing the best coaching to the students, who can avail the facility, the minister said. Eshwar also appreciated that five students who took training in SC study circle were selected for Civil Services and 57 SI posts, VRO posts and others. The State government will set up similar study circles in the districts to provide coaching for students of villages, he added. (Maxim News)
