Govt. Teacher Dies After Bike Hits Monkey In Siddipet

Siddipet/Hyderabad, Nov 7 (Maxim News): A government school teacher died after a motorbike hit a monkey on Thursday morning at Bandarupally junction in Cheriyal town.

Parpataka Dharma Reddy (49), who was working as a teacher at the government school in Chunchanakota, was on his way to work. His wife Shakunthala is the principal of the model school in Maddur. According to Cheriyal police, the teacher was going on his bike from Cheriyal to Chunchanakota when a group of monkeys crossed the road at Bandarupally. Unable to stop the bike abruptly, he hit one of them and fell off the bike. Though he was wearing a helmet, he sustained serious head injuries and died on the spot.

The police said that he was wearing a half-face helmet that could not save him. The monkey also died on the spot.  The police registered a case.  (Maxim News)
