Gram Panchayat Ward Members Murdered In Vikarabad, Wife Held

Hyderabad, Dec 13 (Maxim News):  A gram panchayat ward member was murdered allegedly by his wife at Mominpet in Vikarabad district on Friday night.

The victim Ravinder was recently unanimously elected as the ward member of 8th ward in Maktha Thanda in Mominpet mandal. The elections are scheduled in the village on Sunday.

However, following some family issues Manjula, the wife of Ravinder on Friday night allegedly strangled him to death at his house in the village. On Saturday morning the man was found dead in the house.

The police on information reached the spot and investigation found Ravinder was murdered. A case is registered. (Maxim News)
