Group 1 Verdict: CM Revanth Reddy Welcomes Order

Hyderabad, April 3: Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy welcomed the Supreme Court verdict on Group 1 recruitment in the state. He said the judgment reflects the transparency and commitment of his government in job recruitment.

The Supreme Court dismissed a petition that challenged the Telangana High Court order on Group 1 recruitment. As a result, the apex court upheld the High Court judgment. The Chief Minister reacted to the development through a post on X.

He said the verdict brings major relief to Group 1 aspirants. Many candidates waited for years with uncertainty about their future. He noted that aspirants spent nearly a decade hoping for jobs while facing mental stress and family pressure.

Revanth Reddy said the government issued the notification soon after coming to power. It then conducted the examinations and issued appointment letters within months. He stated that the process showed the government’s intent to act quickly and fairly.

He also said the government defeated attempts by “dushtha shaktulu” to block the recruitment process. According to him, the administration ensured that selected youth became part of the state’s rebuilding as the first batch of Group 1 officers under the present government.

The Chief Minister congratulated the candidates who secured jobs. He also praised the Telangana State Public Service Commission for completing the process transparently. He said the TGPSC system was reformed in line with government thinking and commitment. He added that these reforms helped rebuild trust among unemployed youth.

Revanth Reddy further congratulated the TGPSC chairman, officials, and staff for their role in completing the recruitment process in a transparent manner. He said the government worked to restore confidence in the recruitment system among job seekers.
