Habitual automobile offender held, five motor cycles worth Rs 2 lakh seized

Hyderabad, Oct.18 (NSS): The Commissioner’s Task Force, South Zone Team, Hyderabad along with Banjara Hills Police apprehended one Mohd Khashif, who is a habitual motorcycle theft offender and committed theft of five motorcycles under the limits of Hyderabad and Cyberabad Police Commissionerates. The police seized five motorcycles worth Rs 2 lakh at the instance of the accused.

Mohd.Khashif, 27 yrs, residing at Jhirra, Asif Nagar worked as a labour at various places. Meantime, he got fascinated with bike riding. He hatched a plan to commit theft of motor bikes to fulfil his desire. As of now, he was involved in over seven motorcycle theft cases under various police stations under the limits of Hyderabad, Cyberabad and Kareem Nagar Commissionerates.

Even after release from jail, he continued committing offences and involved in five motorcycle theft cases in the limits of Banjara Hills, Asif Nagar, Kulsumpura, Pet Basheerabad and Rajendra Nagar police stations.

On a tip-off, the South Zone Task Force Team, Hyderabad along with Banjara Hills Police apprehended the accused and recovered five motorcycles at his instance. The accused and the seized property was handed over to the SHO Banjara Hills PS for investigation.

The arrest Was made by S. Raghavendra, Inspector of Police, South Zone and SIs Shaik Buran , N. Srishylam, V. Narender, K Narsimulu and staff of South Zone Task Force, Hyderabad City along with Banjra Hills Police, Hyderabad, said Chakravarthy Gummi, Dy.
