Haj 2025: Inter-Departmental Coordination Meeting Held in Hyderabad

Hyderabad, April 23 (Maxim News): In preparation for the upcoming Haj 2025 operations, a high-level inter-departmental coordination meeting was held at the Haj House in Nampally.

The session was conducted under the guidance of Shaik Yasmeen Basha, Director of the Minorities Welfare Department, and was aimed at ensuring streamlined arrangements for the departure and return of pilgrims from Telangana.

Sajjad Ali, Executive Officer of the Telangana State Haj Committee, shared that the meeting saw active participation from key departments including the Police, Traffic Police, Fire Services, GHMC, Roads and Buildings (R&B), TGRTC, TGSPDCL, TG Transco, Medical & Health, Horticulture, and the State Bank of India (SBI).

Director Yasmeen Basha directed all departments to complete their assigned responsibilities in a timely and efficient manner. Emphasizing the need for proactive planning and seamless coordination, she called for a collaborative approach to address the logistical and service-related requirements of Haj pilgrims, especially during the peak operation period at the Hyderabad Embarkation Point.

Key directives included: GHMC:to Ensure cleanliness and sanitation around the Haj House. Traffic and Police Departments to regulate vehicle movement and enhance security. Medical & Health Department:to Provide sufficient medical facilities. R&B Department to maintain access roads and infrastructure. TSSPDCL to guarantee uninterrupted power supply. and SBI to facilitate smooth banking services for pilgrims.

Reiterating the Government of Telangana’s commitment, Yasmeen Basha said every effort would be made to ensure a comfortable and dignified experience for all Haj pilgrims. She also highlighted the importance of maintaining the sanctity and operational efficiency throughout the pilgrimage process.

The meeting concluded with all departments assuring close cooperation and dedicated support to uphold the quality and coordination of Hajj 2025 operations.
