Hyderabad, May 28 (Maxim News): TRS leader and former minister T Harish Rao today distributed Ramzaan festival gifts among the poor Muslims in Siddipet here. He announced that soon the government will give double bedroom housing facility and pensions to deserving poor.
Speaking on the occasion, Harish Rao said, “We have set up 300 English medium residential schools for Minorities”. He also vowed to develop Siddipet as clean and green town in the days to come. For this, the State government needs support and cooperation from the people, he added. The former minister said the TRS government will distribute Ramzaan festival gifts among the poor Muslims across the State. The government asked the officials to give away these gifts to about 3 lakhs of poor Muslims in all districts.
On May 31, the government will offer Ifthar party to them in the State, he said, adding that the government was implementing welfare schemes for Muslims by spending huge funds. (Maxim News)
