Harish Rao Inaugurate CT Scan services in Gandhi Hospital

Hyderabad, Dec. 11: Telangana State Health Minister T Harish Rao on Saturday morning launched CT scan services at Gandhi Hospital in Hyderabad. On this occation Minister Harish Rao said 21 CT scan centers have been sanctioned in major hospitals across the state. He said that the first CT scan center was started in Gandhi. A CT scan is required in emergencies.

There is also a need for a Cath Lab at Gandhi Hospital, especially for heart disease. The new Cath Lab is priced at Rs. With Rs 6.5 crore, the MRI machine will cost Rs. 12.5 crore has been sanctioned. Gandhi said the MRI and Cath Lab will be made available in the next 45 days. Cath Lab is ready at Osmania Hospital.

Harish Rao said in the next two to three days, the Cath Lab will be started and heart surgeries will be done for the patients in Osmania Hospital.
