Hyderabad, April 20 (Maxim News) : Telangana politics turned intense on Saturday as Chief Minister Revanth Reddy and former Chief Minister KCR held rival public meetings in the united Karimnagar region.
Meanwhile, another major political development grabbed attention after senior BRS leader Harish Rao suddenly left for Delhi.
Harish Rao’s sudden visit to the national capital created fresh political buzz. Along with him, Vinod Rao, considered a close aide of KCR, also travelled to Delhi.
Their departure during KCR’s important public meeting has now become a major talking point in political circles.
Both the Congress and BRS are trying to dominate the political narrative in Telangana. Therefore, today’s parallel developments increased curiosity among party cadres and the public.
Harish Rao Delhi Visit Triggers Speculation
According to party sources, the Delhi visit may be linked to the upcoming High Court verdict on petitions challenging the Justice Ghosh Commission report on alleged irregularities in the Kaleshwaram project.
The High Court is scheduled to pronounce its judgment on April 22. If the ruling goes against BRS leaders, the party may approach the Supreme Court immediately.
Because of this possibility, Harish Rao is believed to have travelled to Delhi to consult senior legal experts and prepare the next legal strategy.
Earlier, the High Court was expected to deliver the verdict on April 8. However, during the previous hearing, the court postponed the judgment to April 22.
Meanwhile, KCR addressed a prestigious BRS public meeting in Jagtial at the same time. As a result, the absence of key leaders at the event sparked more speculation.
Political observers say the coming days could be crucial for BRS, especially with legal issues around the Kaleshwaram project and rising competition from the Congress government.
