Hyderabad, July 9 (Maxim News): Former Minister T Harish Rao today accompanied Animal Husbandry Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav and Endowment Minister A Indrakaran Reddy and Mayor B Rammohan in the Kalyana Utsavalu of Balkampet Yellamma Temple in the city. The ministers presented the temple with traditional clothes and Muthyala Thalambralu. They participated in the special pujas performed on the occasion.
The priests of the temple have blessed Harish Rao, Ministers and others who accompanied them during the festivities. A three-day festivities in the temple will be held as the large number of devotees thronged it to have darshan of the presiding deity and blessings.
Talasani said that Kalyana Utsavalu began today morning. ‘We have asked the officials to make proper arrangements for the devotees. He informed that the ritual was already began on July 8 at 5.30 am with Ganapathi puja. Srinivas said that the temple pujaris will take the Goddess out on to the street on chariot as a tradition to provide darshan for the devotees. The Yellamma temple utsavalu end on third day, Srinivas said.(Maxim News)
