HC Asks Nalgonda Collector Do Social Service

Hyderabad, April 7 (Maxim News): Telangana High Court today asked the Nalgonda district collector prashant Jeevan Patil to do social service. It passed these orders in a contempt of court case. The HC said that the collector spend two hours at an orphanage every week. It said that the collector should do the social service for six months.

It also asked the Nalgonda district retired civil supplies officer Sandhya rank to serve food at orphanages on Ugadi and Sri Ramanavami. A single judge bench of the court imposed a fine of Rs.2000 on the two officers earlier in the contempt case. The two challenged the orders of the single judge bench and urged a division bench to set aside the orders. However the division bench asked the two officers to do social service and disposed off the appeal . (Maxim News)
