Hyderabad, Dec.2 (Maxim News): The High Court today struck down a petition filed by TJS leader Prof PL Vishweshwar Rao seeking jobs to RTC staff and talks with RTC unions.
The court, upon hearing the case has stated that the government has already took the RTC staff back to services. Besides offering Rs 100 crore, the government almost addressed the RTC staff problem, the court observed.
The high court said the government also decided not to move Labour Court in this regard. The court made the observations as the government announced sops to RTC staff. On this, the petitioner argued that the government first refused to follow high court directions and later took a reverse turn. He also said the government has called the RTC staff and ignored the unions for the talks. On this, the court suggested that the unions and leaders can approach the authorities for their issues. Later the court quashed the case citing it irrelevant as the government has taken all measures. (Maxim News)
