HC Reserved Judgement On MLAs Purchase Case

Hyderabad, Jan 18 (Maxim News): A Division Bench of the High Court of Telangana, headed by Chief Justice Ujjal Bhuyan has taken up the arguments on the appeal filed by the State government against the judgement of the single judge in the MLAs purchase Farmhouse case which has ended today.

After hearing the arguments of both sides, the bench reserved its verdict. However, the government counsel Dave requested the court to allow some time for the submission of written arguments. The Court has given a deadline of January 30.

It may be recalled that the single bench of the High Court quashed the SIT investigation in the MLA purchase case. However, the government expressed its displeasure and filed a writ appeal.
