Hyderabad, July 18 (Maxim News): The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has focused on the HCA scam. There are allegations that funds received from the BCCI were used for personal purposes instead of for the development of cricket.
It has been revealed that there was a swindle in everything from stadium tenders to ticket sales. In the last 10 years, the HCA has received funds of more than Rs. 800 crore from the BCCI. There have been allegations that the HCA account, which has crores of rupees, was also used for personal purposes. Many things came to light during the investigation of Justice Lav Nageswara Rao in 2022. A forensic audit confirmed that crores of rupees had been involved in corruption in the tenders for cricket balls, stadium chairs and gym equipment. The ED had previously questioned the HCA members on this matter.
Recently, HCA President Jagan Mohan Rao has also been involved in similar corruption and irregularities. The ED will investigate all the details of who was given how much to whom for entry into the HCA. It has been revealed that Jagan acted in a way that benefited only his own people in the tenders during IPL matches. There are allegations that he also tied himself to food catering, stalls in the stadium, and ticket allocation. (Maxim News)
