Health Scheme To Women As Gift On Women’s Day Celebrations: Errabelli

Mahbubabad/Hyderabad, Mar 5 (Maxim News): Minister for Panchayat Raj and Rural Development, Errabelli Dayakar Rao has informed that Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao will bring Women’s Health Scheme as a gift to women on the occasion of Women’s Day.

As part of the preparation for the Women’s Day celebration, today in Thorrur town center of Mahabubabad district under the auspices of Errabelli Trust Chairperson errabelli Usha Dayakar Rao, the Minister attended the program as the Chief guest, he said that women have gained a lot of power under the rule of KCR. He said that many schemes have been brought for the empowerment of women. Arrangements are being made to return the Abhaya hastam funds which will be handed over.

He said that KCR is the real soulmate of women. He praised that women are not inferior to anyone in providing opportunities. He reminded that in Telangana, 50 percent of reservations for women in local bodies and market committees are being encouraged and women’s leadership is being encouraged. For the first time in the history of GHMC and Warangal Municipal Corporation, the posts of Mayor and Deputy Mayor were given to women by KCR.

The Minister stated that efforts are being made for the comprehensive development and care of girls and women by organizing service homes, state homes, rescue homes, working women’s hostels, old age homes, special polytechnics, and degree residential colleges for women. He explained that we are protecting women’s self-respect by providing pensions to women, single, elderly, widow, beedi workers, preachers, and weavers like nowhere else in the country. Under Shadi Mubarak and Kalyana Lakshmi financial assistance is being provided. (Maxim News)
