Hearing On Kavitha Bail Petition Adjourned

Delhi/Hyderabad, May 27 (Maxim News): The hearing on the bail petitions of BRS MLC Kalvakuntla kavitha in the Delhi Liquor Scam case has been postponed once again.

Today, the Delhi Rouse Avenue Court heard the petitions filed by Kavitha in the ED and CBI cases related to the scam, Kavita’s lawyer Vikram Chaudhary presented the arguments in the court for about 40 minutes. He told the court that Kavitha was arrested against the rules.

However, ED and CBI have told the Court that they will present their arguments with all the evidence on Kavitha’s bail petitions by Tuesday.

It is already known that the trial court has rejected Kavita’s bail petition in Ed and CBI cases. Challenging this verdict, Kavitha approached the High Court.

However, on March 15, ED officials arrested Kavitha in Hyderabad in the Delhi Liquor case and took her to Delhi. Later, when the court brought it, first ED custody, then judicial remand was imposed.

Police took her to Tihar Jail. Kavitha was arrested by the CBI while she was in jail. Kavita is currently in Tihar Jail in these two cases. The court remanded her till June 2. (Maxim News)
