Heavy Rains: Big Relief To The People Of Telangana

Hyderabad, Sept 2 (Maxim News): Heavy rains are everywhere in Telangana from Saturday to Monday morning as the low pressure formed in the Bay of Bengal has turned into a cyclone.

Khammam district has been affected by floods. Rivers and ponds united and overflowed. Villages and colonies flooded the valleys. The railway tracks were destroyed in many areas and the roads were washed away. Apart from Hyderabad, the people in the rest of the districts are unable to come out of their homes. Traffic from Telangana to Andhra Pradesh has almost stopped. The situation of not being able to come out of Khammam. People are facing serious difficulties as they are unable to go from here to there. This is all the difficulties faced by the people of the state for 48 hours. However, it is precisely in these circumstances that the Hyderabad Meteorological Department has said, that with this,  the people of the state can breathe a sigh of relief.

Heavy Rains Today In Hyderabad

The officials of the Meteorological Department have revealed that the air system has completely weakened in the Bay of Bengal.  However, moderate to heavy rains are likely to occur in many places in the state today.  Officials warned people to be vigilant.  The meteorological Department has given a big relief that only moderate rains will fall in the state from Tuesday.  If this is the case, it can be said that it is a big relief for the people of Hyderabad because there will be no heavy rain in Hyderabad today, the officials have made it clear that only moderate rain is likely to fall today.

On the other hand, the IMD has issued a yellow alert for the state.  Moderate rains are likely in many districts.  However, there is a chance of heavy rain in the Adilabad, Nizamabad, Nirmal, Medak, Kamareddy, and Sangareddy districts today.   As for Khammam district, the people of the district breathed a sigh of relief as there was no heavy rain.  (Maxim News)
